The dataset is split into 7.5K training problems and 1K test problems. These problems require 2 to 8 steps to solve, and their solutions primarily involve performing a series of basic calculations using elementary arithmetic operations (+ − × ÷) to arrive at the final answer. A bright middle school student should be able to solve all the problems. This dataset can be applied to multi-step mathematical reasoning tasks.
