Preveotella copri is predicted to deploy a range of glycan utilization systems in response to exposure to specific glycans. Here we exposed P. copri to to a single gylcan type, extract mRNA during the exponential phase of growth and sequence the mRNA to elucidate the transcription differences when compared to growth on a simple sugar, glucose.
