Fusarium fujikuroi Genome sequencing and assembly. Fusarium fujikuroi

In this study we sequenced and performed de-novo genome assembly and gene annotation of 3 geographically distinct isolates of Fusarium fujikuroi and compared their genomes with 2 recently published complete genomic sequences of other isolates {Jeong, 2013 #11;Wiemann, 2013 #9}. We performed an intra-species genomic comparative analysis among five F. fujikuroi strains demonstrating the presence of a hitherto unexpected diversity of secondary metabolite profiles within F. fujikuroi.
