Obesity has emerged in recent times as one of the major epidemics. The relationship between the obesity and the gut bacterial microbiota have been vastly studied.Oral cavity as the gateway to the gut contains the largest quantity of bacteria and forms complex oral-gut cross-talking microbiome, but little is known about their influence on obesity in young children.In this study,we analyzed the characteristics of saliva and feces microflora in 30 obese and 30 healthy children aged 3-5 years using the third-generation PacBio long-read sequencing technology.
