Transcriptome profiling of gingival epithelial cells response to IFN stimulation using RNA-seq

Understanding the difference between Type I and Type III IFN stimulation on gingivalepithelial cell (GEC) responses using RNA-seq. Overall design: In order to understand the difference between Type I and Type III IFN stimulation on GECs responses, telomerase immortalized gingival keratinocytes were stimulated with IFN-ß or IFN-?, followed by RNA-seq. There were three groups: untreated, IFN-ß and IFN-?. Within each group there were 3 separaate replicates. Total RNA was purified from the TIGKs and differential expression analysis was performed to compare and profile the transcriptome.
