Vulnerability and Risk Assessment Dataset for Impacts of Extreme Weather and Climate Events in Central Asia (1960–2100) (covering extreme events including drought, flood, snowstorm, extreme cold, sandstorm, etc., and exposed element indicators such as grain yield, grassland carrying capacity, forest stock volume, etc.). This dataset includes the Sequential Drought Event Characteristics and NDVI Vulnerability Dataset of Central Asia (1982–2015), Central Asia Animal Husbandry Dataset (including vegetation coverage, soil wind erosion amount on bare land, soil wind erosion amount under vegetation cover, vegetation sand-fixing mass, start date of growing season, end date of growing season, length of growing season, etc.), Central Asia Animal Husbandry Impact Dataset, and Central Asia Forest Wildfire Vulnerability and Risk Dataset. The original meteorological data (including precipitation, minimum temperature and maximum temperature data) are sourced from the "Belt and Road" Regional Extreme Temperature Index Projection Data (2020–2100) (Qian, C. 2021. "Belt and Road" Regional Extreme Temperature Index Projection Data (2020–2100). National Tibetan Plateau Data Center.), the "Belt and Road" Regional Extreme Precipitation Index Projection Data (2020–2100) (Qian, C. 2022. "Belt and Road" Regional Extreme Precipitation Index Projection Data (2020–2100). National Tibetan Plateau Data Center.), and the RegCM model from the Coupled Model Intercomparison Project Phase 6 (CMIP6). Data analysis and processing were conducted using vulnerability curve methodologies, the RUSLE model and the RWEQ model.
