Czech Diaspora 2023 Dataset

The dataset includes data for 669 Czech expatriates currently living in six destination countries (Germany, France, Great Britain, the United States, Australia, and New Zealand). Data were connected through online survey between April and June 2023. Inclusion criteria for taking part in the survey were: 1) being a Czech or of Czech descent and 2) living in the destination country outside of the Czech Republic for a minimum of 12 months. The Czech-language questionnaire targeted respondents who had a higher potential to maintain transnational ties with Czechia. Approximately one-third of the 62 questions were focused on remittances, one-third on integration, and the rest on transnational behaviour and socio-economic characteristics.
