The ChronoRoot 2.0 dataset was created to address the need for high-resolution, multi-organ temporal phenotyping in plant science, expanding beyond traditional binary root segmentation. The dataset includes 911 expert-annotated infrared images of Arabidopsis thaliana and 480 images of Solanum lycopersicum (tomato), encompassing seven distinct structural classes: background, main root, lateral roots, seed, hypocotyl, leaves, and petiole. <br> To facilitate immediate utilization and reproducibility, this resource provides the complete pre-trained nnUNet model weights for both Arabidopsis and tomato, as well as four curated demo datasets. These demo datasets consist of pre-segmented video sequences designed to allow users to familiarize themselves with the platform's dual specialized graphical interfaces: the Standard Interface for detailed architectural analysis and the Screening Interface for high-throughput assays.
