We are monitoring the nesting timing and success of passerines on Herschel Island, to compare phenology and success with historical data from the 1980s. We find nests opportunistically and by concentrated searches of certain habitats. Nests found are positioned with a GPS and revisited every 48 hours during the breeding period to determine clutch size, hatching date, and fledging success.
