“Tony with fish caught in the Mara [Kamara] River, Xmas 1930” Portrait of Anthony Irvine holding a fishing rod and a fish on a hook. This is probably at the Kamara River that ran behind the mission and was used to supply hydroelectric power to the station. ❧ This image is from an album chronicling the time that Dr Archibald Clive Irvine (1893-1974) spent at Tumutumu (1919-1921) and some of the early years at Chogoria.
