modeling ischemic-reperfusion injury in stroke using BBB chip

We constructed a BBB chip containing brain microvascular endothelial cells, astrocytes, microglia, and pericytes, and simulated the ischemia-reperfusion blood flow conditions under pathological conditions through biomimetic fluid stimulation and oxygen glucose deprivation culture to construct an ischemic stroke disease model. We not only preliminarily evaluated the cellular response and barrier function changes of the blood-brain barrier under pathological conditions on the model, but also further tested the efficacy of various ischemic stroke treatment drugs using this model.
