2021_04 Multiplication in Audiovisual Scientific Mediation: methodological training documentary set

This item documents the activity “Audiovisual Scientific Mediation – Multiplication,” carried out between October 2020 and April 2021 at the Geological Survey of Brazil within the Scientific Information Visualization Project (VIC). It is presented as a methodological training documentary set composed of report, syllabus, presentations, exercises, and links to recorded modules produced in an internal workshop aimed at sharing theoretical and practical knowledge on the adaptation of scientific information into audiovisual formats for non-specialized audiences.​The classes were based on Dario Dias Peixoto’s working procedure, which was later formalized and published as the Geoscience Audiovisual method. In this sense, the item records an early stage of methodological transfer, procedural maturation, and internal multiplication of scientific mediation practices, preserving evidence of how a scientist-led workflow for audiovisual science communication was taught, structured, and documented in an institutional context.
