"STRUCTURAL AND STYLISTIC FEATURES OF SMALL LITERARY GENRES AND THEIR TRANSLATION (BASED ON RUSSIAN AND UZBEK PROSE)"

This article examines the specific features of small literary genres—particularly the short story and the drabble—in Russian and Uzbek literature. The study focuses on their structural, semantic, and stylistic characteristics, as well as on the authorial concept underlying these genres. Special attention is given to translation issues, including the preservation of stylistic nuance, subtext, and cultural specificity. The research employs comparative, linguistic, and translation analysis methods. The findings demonstrate that small genres require a high level of semantic precision and stylistic sensitivity, making their translation particularly challenging. The article also highlights the influence of Russian classical literature on the development of Uzbek prose traditions.
