Transcription profiling of human normal pancreas samples, and samples from patients with chronic pancreatitis, pancreatic cancer and metastatic pancreatic cancer

This dataset presents the gene expression profiles of 36 frozen pancreas samples. RNA from 9 normal pancreas samples, 9 samples from patients with chronic pancreatitis, 9 samples from patients with pancreatic cancer and 9 samples from patients with metastatic pancreatic cancer was extracted and hybridized individually to Affymetrix HG_U95Av2 microarray chips. The data present a gene expression profile of the pancreas in normal and diseased states and has been used to identify genes which may play an important role in disease of the pancreas.
