Identification of the pharmacological effects of Chrysanthemum morifolium Ramat. leaves extracts on high-fat diet induced obese mice through lipid-, and glucose metabolism

We investigated that ethanol extracts of Chrysanthemum morifolium Ramat. leaves improved metabolic disease on high-fat diet induced obese mice using metabolic profiling of lipid-, glucose, inflammation and RNA-seq transcriptomic profling. Total RNA of epididymal adipose tissue was obtained from normal diet, high-fat diet (HFD), chrysanthemum leaf ethanol extract (CLE) or luteolin added high-fat diet-fed mice and mRNA expression-associated with lipid metabolism, thermogenesis and inflammation were measured in epididymal adipose tissue.
