Multimodal brain, autonomic and phenomenological data for the acute effects of N,N-dimethyltryptamine (DMT)

A within-participant 2 × 2 study (N = 19) recorded brain (EEG/EOG), peripheral physiology (ECG, EDA, respiration) and time-resolved retrospective phenomenological reports from healthy adult volunteers across two semi-naturalistic sessions, each comprising a 10-minute eyes-closed Resting State (RS) baseline followed by a single inhalation of 20 mg or 40 mg of freebase DMT and 20 minutes of post-inhalation recording. Dose order was counterbalanced across participants. Phenomenological dynamics were captured using the Temporal Experience Tracing (TET) method, in which participants retrospectively traced the time course of 15 experiential dimensions on a continuous canvas after each block. This dataset includes: - **Raw recordings** (1.3 GB) — BrainVision-format multichannel recordings from a Brain Products BrainAmp ExG MR amplifier (sampling rate 250 Hz, 36 channels), and MATLAB files with TET phenomenological time series (sampling rate 0.25 Hz). - **Preprocessed derivatives** (7.2 GB) — per-subject CSV time series of cleaned ECG, EDA (cvxEDA-decomposed), and respiratory signals, together with JSON sidecars containing peak indices, processing parameters, and quality metrics.
