ChIP-seq was performed on 10 days old A. thaliana seedlings using H3 antibody (Abcam ab 1791) and no antibody as control.Experiment was performed using low rDNA copy line (line 9) and WT (WT) to compare H3 distribution in at rDNA locus.Reads were aligned to TAIR10 A. thaliana genome release, where consensus rDNA (Havlova et al., 2016) sequence was added to chromosome 2. Other rDNA sequences found in the genome were masked to avoid loss of signal at the added consensus sequence.
