This collection comprises site photographs, spreadsheets and GIS Data from a programme of trial trenching carried out by Cotswold Archaeology between September and December 2022 on land within the surrounding environs of Essendine, Rutland, extending across the border into the South Kesteven administrative area of Lincolnshire. A total of 209 trenches were excavated, largely targeting anomalies identified by a preceding geophysical survey.
