Antimicrobial activity of Brachystegia boehmii extracts and their green synthesized silver nanoparticles.

The Antimicrobial Activity data excel file consists of 2 tabs. The first tab labelled 'Zone of Inhibition Results' shows seven different modes of treatment against five bacteria;<em> Klebsiella pnuemoniae, Psuedomonas aeruginosa, Staphylococcus aureaus , Staphylococus epidermidis </em>and<em> Escherichia coli.</em> The drugs tested were as follows; <em>Brachystegia boehmii</em> nanopaticles, <em>B. boehmii</em> water extract, <em>B. boehmii </em>methanol extract,<em> B. boehmii</em> chloroform extract and the controls [Ciprofloxacin, Dimethyl Sulfoxide and Silver Nitrate] All the zone of inhibition diameter results were recorded in millimeters (mm). <br> The second tab labelled 'UV-Vis Spec Results' shows the UV-Vis Absorbance spectra of silver nanoparticles: Green synthesized <em>B. boehmii</em> and Sodium citrate synthesized (Control). <br> The zone of Inhibition diameter analysis .doc file presents the Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS Version 26) output calculations. Repeated measures ANOVA was used to test for the level of significance for both the treatment trials and the organisms. Values p&lt;0.05 were taken to imply statistical significance. <br>
