Population genetics of cave dwelling funnel web spiders in te Levant

This project explores the relatedness of cave and surface dwelling spiders of the genus Tegenaria collected in the interior and entrance of various caves in Israel. The goal of the projects is to reveal the species boundaries and identities of troglobite specimens and contextualize the evolution of cave adaptations in these organisms.
