This update presents Phase 2 findings from the FluxDrive Research Initiative, a simulation-based framework investigating navigation and control constraints in hypothetical faster-than-light (FTL) travel scenarios. Building upon Phase 1, which established a functioning simulation pipeline for trajectory drift and stability analysis, Phase 2 focuses on refining the control system responsible for trajectory correction within a curved spacetime model. A proportional control approach was introduced and evaluated through parameter sweep testing. Results demonstrate that control tuning significantly impacts system performance, with measurable improvements in drift correction while maintaining high stability. The strongest observed configuration occurred at a control gain of 0.5, achieving a correction efficiency of 0.29 alongside a stability score classified as highly stable. These findings reinforce the importance of control system design in hypothetical superluminal navigation and support the value of simulation-first approaches in exploring constrained physical systems.
