Newspaper Coverage of Climate Change and Eutrophication 1990-2010

The data contain information on news items that mention the terms climate change or eutrophication published in the newspaper Helsingin Sanomat from 1990 to 2010. The dataset contains variables that were formed of the information available in the Helsingin Sanomat digital database, namely the title and topic of the news item, year and month of publication, the section of the paper, and the search term that was used to find the item. The data consist of 8,779 news items related to climate change and 2,162 items related to eutrophication.
