Initiative is treated as a latent propensity of a node or focal community to generate outgoing boundary-crossing incidents that are not contingent on prior incoming incidents. The measure is computed from the local temporal incident sequence, gives greater weight to earlier positions, handles timestamp ties through deterministic block averaging, and includes a first-encounter variant for relationship onset. This archive contains aggregate synthetic-benchmark outputs, descriptive empirical summaries, cross-site association tables, and figures supporting the paper’s empirical analyses. These files cover the full-sequence initiative measure and its first-encounter variant, including results for Spearman correlations, ROC-AUC, Kendall rank associations, outgoing fractions, activity counts, timestamp ties, discounted-mean comparators, and cross-site partial Spearman correlations. No third-party source datasets, raw Stack Exchange XML files, source edge lists, or derived temporal edge lists are redistributed in this record. Empirical inputs can be reconstructed from the original public sources using the companion code repository, which provides scripts to download the datasets, construct the normalized temporal-network inputs locally, and rerun the experiments.
