MODERN ASPECTS OF TREATMENT OF JAUNDICE IN NEWBORN INFANTS

This article analyzes modern methods and therapeutic approaches for the treatment of hyperbilirubinemia in newborns. The study highlights the use of innovative technologies based on proven medicine, abandoning traditional drug treatment methods. The main focus is on high-intensity phototherapy, fiber-optic systems, and optimized strategies for breastfeeding. Also, the advantages of using immunoglobulins in severe hemolytic cases and indications for the practice of exchange transfusion are considered based on modern international protocols.
