Identification of chromatin interactions associated with CASC19 by ChIRP-seq

Defining the functions of long non-coding RNAs remains a major challenge in RNA biology, a field that spans fundamental, translational, and medical research. Specifically, these lncRNAs can both regulate the transcription of their target genes and act as molecular chaperones, escorting their transcript products until translation is complete, resulting in tight coupling in abundance between the lncRNA and its target. The long non-coding RNA CASC19 plays a significant role in the transcriptional regulation of gastric cancer. To comprehensively investigate the chromatin interactome of CASC19, we employed Chromatin Isolation by RNA Purification (ChIRP) to pull down CASC19-associated DNA, which was subsequently subjected to sequencing (ChIRP-seq).
