Flow cytometry dataset: Taxonomic and phenotypic diversity of bacterial communities in a Swedish stream–lake network

This dataset contains raw flow cytometry (.FCS) files and accompanying metadata for bacterial communities sampled from a stream–lake network in central Sweden. Samples were collected across three distinct hydrological regimes and from different aquatic habitat types as part of a study on microbial biogeography. The data were used for:- Volumetric quantification of bacterial and cyanobacterial particles- Calculation of phenotypic diversity (alpha and beta)- Comparison of flow cytometric diversity estimates with 16S rRNA gene amplicon sequencing
