The complete mitochondrial genome sequence and phylogenetic analysis of Sishui Fur sheep (Ovis aries)

The Sishui Fur sheep (Ovis aries) ia an unique multi-horned sheep,it belongs to the subfamily Caprinae. In this study, the complete mitochondrial genome sequence of Sishui Fur sheep was investigated. It has a similar mitochondrial genome structure with other Ovis species. These results provide more date to further study this rare multi-horned sheep breed.
