Projections of global, regional and national prevalence of asthma from 2018-2040

<p>Determine appropriate models for estimating and projecting the prevalence and disease burden of asthma. Derive valid and reproducible estimates of the global, regional and national prevalence and disease burden of asthma and make projections in relation to these estimates for the years up to 2030. Develop automated approaches to updating these estimates on an annual basis.</p>

<p>The dataset contains projected asthma population (number of people having asthma) from 2018 to 2040 for 187 countries, 8 United Nations (UN) Sustainable Development Goal (SDG) regions, 22 sub-regions and the world as a whole. The dataset contains projected age-sex-and-location specific prevalence of asthma for five years age groups including all ages and both sexes.</p>
