Transcriptome data of pyrethroid-resistant and -susceptible Anopheles sinensis

In this study, transcriptome and functional analyses revealed the carboxylesterase genes involved in pyrethroid resistance in <i>Anopheles sinensis. </i>Transcriptomic comparison of deltamethrin-resistant and susceptible strains revealed upregulated carboxylesterase genes. qRT-PCR confirmed their significantoverexpression in resistant strains. The gene silencing mediated by RNA interference reduced the knockdown time and increased the mortality rates of resistant mosquitoes when exposed to deltamethrin.
