Vibrations of trees under pull-and-release tests or typhoons
收藏资源简介:
These data are adopted to reproduce the results in Chau et al. (under review).
The Matlab data is the point-cloud data scanned by the multi-beam flash LiDAR sensor with a sampling frequency of 10 Hz. The filenames of the point-cloud data are denoted as "Pull_and_release_tests_along_{depth, width}_{1,2,...}_trial" and "Case_{I,II,...}", which represent the data for the vibration of trees under pull-and-release tests and that under typhoons, respectively.
In each point-cloud frame, the examined tree is segmented. The point-cloud data is further translated such that the base of the trunk of the examined tree becomes the origin of the coordinate system. The point-cloud data is also rotated, such that the front and the side views are along and transverse to the measuring direction of the LiDAR sensor, respectively.
