To investigate the signaling pathways involved in the melanogenesis of regenerated appendages in P. pseudoannulata, we conducted transcriptome analysis on samples obtained during different stages of regeneration. Regenerated appendage samples were collected at 1 day (I), 2 days (II), 5-6 days (III), and 9 days (IV) post-regeneration, designated as samples X_I, X_II, X_III, and X_IV, respectively. Control appendages were collected from the opposite appendage in terms of geometry and designated as CK_IOG, CK_IIOG,CK_IIIOG, and CK_IVOG (OG, opposite appendage in geometry).
