Populus alba 'Berolinensis' L. Genome sequencing and assembly. Populus alba x Populus x berolinensis

Populus alba 'Berolinensis' L. is a fast-growing poplar hybrid in the northeast of China. This hybrid poplar is widely used as landscape ornamentals and in forestation of urban areas (e.g., Shenyang city, a heavy industrial area) for good adaptation to the adverse environments. In this project, a high-quality assembly of Populus alba 'Berolinensis' L. is established, aiming to uncover the genetic effects on the disease and traits of Populus deeper.
