This is an Arizona Site Steward file for the Gisela Schoolhouse Mound site, located on Tonto National Forest land. The site is comprised of a platform mound, indicative of a Salado settlement, and artifacts from 1895 through 1939 when the area held the third schoolhouse for the community of Gisela.
The file consists of a site data form, four maps of the site location, a site map, and a summary description of the site. The earliest dated document is from 1986.
