Exclusive Los Angeles Examiner photos by Dorene Parsons. 1-2-3: Old Bank of America, corner of Main Street and Lemon Drive, Yorba Linda. 4-5: Modern U.S. Post Office, Yorba Linda, on Lemon Drive, near corner of Main Street and about 1000 feet from old Bank of America on other side of street. 6-7: Beautiful new Yorba Linda Library, which cost about $100,000, located south side of Lemon Drive bordered by Olinda and Plumosa Avenues. 8-9: March (yes, that's her name) Butz, Librarian 13 years, who is retiring on June 30, 1961, photographed with the 5 scrapbook volumes she and the Library Board have compiled on Yorba Linda, which are the only actual books available with chapters on the library, the Yorba family, favorite sons and daughters of Yorba Linda, history of Yorba Linda, photographs, clippings, etc. Mildred Yorba MacArthur has assisted with information on Yorba family. (Etc.) Butz gets most of the credit, however".; Supplementary material continues: "...Main Street, Yorba Linda, (street scene) which is the main street of Yorba Linda small town street scene, quiet and sleepy looking. 10-11-12: The beautiful fashionable Yorba Linda Country Club which is beautifully backgrounded by famous California hills. It is an out-of-this-world mecca for recreation".
