Pond-reed model

Data is organized as follows:

The file “PRF_ Baseline.xlsx” describes the actual baseline pond-reed model. In sense of PPS, it is formulated by state, transition, and connection elements, together with their initial values and the parameters. This VBA-supported MS Excel file serves as an input/output interface and provides the input for the simulation runs (executed by the simulation kernel program of PPS), and takes up the result. In this uploaded baseline case, VBA macros were removed, it aims to visualize the content of the actual model.
Worksheets are as follows:
Admin: Refers to the actual version of the simulation model (especially in case of scenario runs), and the ID is used for the naming of produced input files for the simulation runs.
State_list: Lists the applied compartments, and the corresponding state elements of the actual model
Transition_list: Lists the applied compartments, and the corresponding transition elements of the actual model
Network: Describes the connections, on the basis of the transitions.
States: Started from the data entered in Sheet State_list, provides an interface for the actual initial values and parameters, utilized by the simulation kernel.
Transitions: Started from the data entered in Sheet Transition_list, provides an interface for the parameters, utilized by the simulation kernel.
Define_output: Describe the detailed content of simulation output
Results: Detailed output of the simulation

The file “Transition_prototypes.xlsx” contains detailed information about the global variables, inputs, parameters, and outputs in the application specific (locally executable) program code of the model.
Referred parameters, input and output variables are explained together with listing of their initial and parameter values, as well as their literature references.
Actually applied initial values and parameters can be followed in the respective States and Transitions worksheets of the supplied MS Excel interface files (PRF_ Baseline.xlsx, as well as the scenario files).

Folder “Scenario_runs” contains:
• File “List_of_Scenarios.xls” contains the details and naming of each input/output file regarding the analyzed scenarios.
• Folder: “Scenario_results” contains files (.xls) with inputs/outputs for the 13 simulated scenarios.
