The Synergistic Effects of Nano-sized α-Al(Mn,Cr,Fe)Si and Al-Si-Zr Dispersoids on the Creep Behavior Al-Si-Mg-Cu (Mn, Cr, Zr) Diesel Engine Alloy

The dataset generated for this study includes Scheil cooling and equilibrium calculations, tensile creep tests, Arrhenius plot and backscattered SEM images in the as-cast and T7 condition of the MG1 and MG2-1 alloys. In addition, HRTEM images showing dislocation-dispersoid interaction, Q' phase and coherency and partially coherency of the precipitates are presented.
