In 2023, Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing Company (TSMC) gained around 1.5 trillion New Taiwan dollars of net profit from customers headquartered in the United States. As a global semiconductor foundry leader, TSMC accounted for around 56 percent of market share in the global advanced, specialty and advanced packaging technologies market that year.
