This project is to benchmark wastewater human virus sequencing protocols, encompassing both pre-sequencing sample concentration/extraction methods and post-sequencing bioinformatic analysis pipelines. Four different wastewater virus concentration/extraction methods were selected, and the resulting nucleic acids were enriched using the Illumina virus surveillance panel (VSP) for targeted sequencing.
