Genome sequencing of the African oil palm (Elaeis guineensis)

This project involves the genome sequencing of an African oil palm (Elaeis guineensis) fruit type Dura and whole-genome resequencing of 72 oil palm trees distributed from African continent and South East Asian countries. The Dura was sequenced with ~ 150x coverage using Pacbio sequel II platform and the 72 trees were sequenced with Illumina platform.
