Anser cygnoides isolate:Tianfu Genome sequencing and assembly

Here, we have generated a high quality goose genome by adopting a hierarchical approach using short reads from the Illumina platform, long reads from the Pacbio platform, and Hi-C linking information. We expect this to be a valuable genomic resource for understanding the molecular mechanisms that contribute to the unique morphological and physiological features of the goose, and for studies of genome biology and evolution.
