Experimental Load-Slip Database for Steel-Timber Shear Connections

This dataset compiles specimen-level metadata and digitised load-slip responses from published push-out tests on steel-timber shear connections. The database is structured as an evolving resource organised by connection family. The current release contains dry full-embedment (DFE) bolted connections from six experimental studies, covering LVL, CLT, glulam and cross-laminated bamboo-timber panels, with variations in bolt diameter, strength grade, panel geometry, grain direction, pretension and connection detailing. Individual curves were digitised to support consistent extraction of stiffness, strength, deformation capacity and failure characteristics, and the development of component-based constitutive and data-driven predictive models. Future releases will progressively incorporate additional dry and wet steel-timber shear connection systems.
