"Figure4 - DT clusters" of "Search for long-lived heavy neutral leptons decaying in the CMS muon detectors in proton-proton collisions at $\sqrt{s}$ = 13 TeV"

Comparison of
hits distributions for events with muons from \zmm between data and simulation, for CSC clusters (left) and DT clusters (right), using data collected in 2017 and the simulation of the corresponding data-taking conditions. The data sample is selected by requiring a two-muon invariant mass consistent with a Z boson and one of the muons is matched to an MDS cluster. Data-to-simulation correction factors are applied to the \zmm simulation. Only statistical uncertainties are included in the figure. Distributions made using data collected in 2016 and 2018 are found to have similar shape as the 2017 data sample.
