The transcriptome dynamics of single cells during the cell cycle.

We used the dataset to perform in-silico sorting of single cell transcriptomes along the cell cycle and thus being able to investigate gene expression dynamics along the mammalian cell cycle. Overall design: An exponentially growing fixed human cell line was used for droplet-based single-cell mRNA transcriptome profiling in order to perform a posteriori in-silico sorting of single cell transcriptomes along the cell cycle and investigation of gene expression dynamics along the mammalian cell cycle.
