Light matter interaction in the nanoscale has proven to be a promising candidate in a plethora of research areas of interest such as electronics, bio-imaging and informatics, computing, communication and so on. This can be facilitated by means of Surface Plasmon Polaritons formed during such interactions as sources of amplified and stored energy within state-of-the-art plasmonic generators and amplifiers. In this regard, designs based on graphene have attracted a huge interest due to its exceptional materialistic properties that makes it an ideal competitor for metals. This thesis presents a theoretical analysis of an all-Carbon novel plasmonic resonator and laser design.
