Physical and biogeochemical data of sea ice for January 2024 and January 2025

Brash sea ice was collected in the marginal ice zone of the Indian sector of the Southern Ocean during the UM2307 and UM2406 cruises (January 2024 and January 2025, respectively). The physical (temperature, salinity, brine salinity, brine volume fraction, delta^18O, density) and biogeochemical properties (chlorophyll a, transparent exopolymer particles, particulate organic carbon, particulate nitrogen, delta^13C of POC, delta^15N of PN, nutrients concentration, cell abundance of bacteria) were analyzed for total 20 brash ice samples.
