To identify the differences between human umbilical cord blood and peripheral blood monocytes, we performed unsupervised bioinformatic analyses by microarrays. monocytes were isolated from human cord blood mononuclear cells and peripheral blood stem cells at 6 hours after in vitro culture, three independent experiments were performed using different donors for each experiment.
