tranquilizers, vitamins and intoxicants already used; assessment of

of coping with one´s own problems; reference persons; feeling oneself
not understood; detailed information on type and extent of beverage
consumption; frequency of alcohol excesses; exact information on use of

2. Written survey (filled out after conclusion of the oral survey and
sent to the institute by mail; so-called ´feeling data´): in the form
of 11 detailed descriptions situations are described to which the
respondent was to note for each whether he can imagine himself in this
situation, has already personally felt it once, and what thoughts he
has developed regarding it.

The individual situations: spending spree, dance; music euphoria;
alternative living; boredom; security in one´s family; thoughtfulness;
achievement pressure; guilty conscience; goal in life; opportunism.

Demography: age; sex; marital status; religious denomination; school
education; occupational position; employment; income; household income;
household size; household composition; respondent is head of household;
characteristics of head of household; housing situation; party
preference.
