Study on recurrent spontaneous abortion induced by FABP5 downregulation

Recurrent spontaneous abortion (RSA) is a disease that significantly impacts women's reproductive health, with a complex etiology. This study aims to explore the role of fatty acid-binding protein 5 (FABP5) in RSA and its potential mechanisms. By knocking down FABP5 expression, the study investigates its effects on the survival of decidual stromal cells (DSCs) and mitochondrial damage, aiming to uncover the pathophysiological significance of FABP5 in RSA and provide new targets for the diagnosis and treatment of this condition.
