Cross-sectional images from magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) prior to conservation, and from X-ray computed tomography (XCT) both before and after conservation of the archaeological wood

The repository contains cross-sectional images of 80 wood samples from the LEIZA reference collection, which were documented as part of the CuTAWAY project. Each wood sample has been documented using magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) in a wet state, before conservation (VZ), as well as using micro-X-ray computed tomography (CT), both before (VZ) and after conservation (EZ). Additional information can be found in the stored metafiles (*tiff). Data acquisition took place between 2019 and 2023.
