This dataset contains automatically recorded pedestrian and bicycle traffic data for the City of Zurich in 2019, collected by the Civil Engineering Office of the City of Zurich, with counting locations distributed across the entire urban area. Specifically, bicycle traffic was recorded via inductive loops embedded in the road surface, while pedestrian traffic was captured using passive infrared radiation. The dataset covers information including counting location ID, date and time, as well as bidirectional traffic frequencies of both bicycles and pedestrians.
